Neuer Corona-Impfstoff von Novavax ab 4. März

Möglichst viele Menschen sollen sich gegen das Corona-Virus impfen lassen. Das empfehlen führende Gesundheitsinstitute und Gesundheitsbehörden weltweit. Für diejenigen, die der Produktionsweise der bisher verfügbaren Impfstoffe misstrauen, gibt es jetzt den traditioneller hergestellten Impfstoff Nuvaxovid der Firma Novavax. Das Impfstoffprotein wird in Insektenzellen reproduziert und in den Oberarm gespritzt. Dagegen bildet dann der menschliche Körper Antikörper. Diese Immunantwort schützt in diesem Fall Studien zufolge zu 90 Prozent vor einer weiteren Infektion. Nach der Entscheidung, Clubs und Bars in Baden-Württemberg wieder zu öffnen, wird die Nachfrage nach nächtlichen Schnelltests zunehmen. Es gilt die 2G+ Regel ohne Ausnahmen: Zutritt haben nur geimpfte oder genesene Personen mit zusätzlich aktuellem negativen Corona-Schnelltest. Deshalb öffnet eine Teststation in der Pharmaphant-Apotheke am Europaplatz freitags und samstags von 20 bis 1:30 Uhr. Die Teststation am Kelternplatz ist von Donnerstag bis Samstag bis 2 Uhr geöffnet. Der Nachweis ist 24 Stunden gültig. Hundreds of thousands flee the war in Ukraine

According to the UN refugee agency UNHCR, more than 1,3 million refugees (as of 4 March) have already crossed the Ukrainian borders into the EU and Moldova, including more than 750,000 into Poland alone. Ein illyrischer König im Museum in Tübingen

Von Stefan Krmnicek In der Tübinger Sammlung befindet sich eine Münze, die uns ein Schlaglicht auf die bewegte Geschichte des Westbalkans im frühen Jahrhundert v. Chr. wirft. Das Stück dürfte somit auch für die vielen Menschen, deren Wurzeln in dieser Region liegen und in Deutschland eine neue Heimat gefunden haben, besonders interessant sein. Die Münze mit der Tübinger Inventarnummer SNG 1508 ist eine Silbermünze mit einem Gewicht von 10,49 Gramm und einem Durchmesser von knapp 22 Millimeter.
